Francisco J. Garcini MD, PhD, FACOG, FACS

Dr. Garcini is board certified gynecologist and an experienced minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon with special interest in advanced laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery. He is an experienced vaginal surgeon as well. He is the co-director of the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG) at Silver Cross Hospital, in New Lenox, Illinois. Dr. Garcini has graduate degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is both a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons. He is a North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP), and has been designated a Castle Connolly Top Physician.

His areas of interest include the treatment of chronic pelvic pain, adenomyosis, endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic prolapse, urinary incontinence, interstitial cystitis, painful bladder syndrome, and menopause. Dr. Garcini is a co-founder and Attending physician in Partners in Obstetrics and Women’s Health, an obstetrics and gynecology practice in Will County, Illinois. The practice is located on the campus of the new Silver Cross Hospital, and provides a full range of women’s health services to patients in the community and outlying areas. Service areas include New Lenox, Joliet, Mokena, Frankfort, Lockport, Homer Glen, Tinley Park, Orland Park and the greater Chicagoland area.
